A 2″ width holds a logo and a short URL. A paragraph of blurbs will not fit.
Cover weight on a bookmark
100lb gloss and matte cover measure about 10 pt. They are the rack-and-shelf feel. 80lb Gloss Cover measures about 4 pt and flexes more inside pages. Use 100lb when the mark will live in a shop rack. Use 80lb when it only rides in a book. 80lb does not add a stock day. 100lb Gloss Cover does.

1.5″ x 7″ or 2″ x 6″ fit a paperback trim without sticking out. A 2″ x 8″ hangs past a short novel and reads like a library mark instead of a book ribbon. Pick the height by the book, then keep the back face on the same trim so the art centers in the gutter.
Is 80lb Gloss Cover stiff enough for a shop rack?
It flexes more than 100lb cover. Use 100lb when the mark will stand in a rack or on a shelf. Use 80lb when it only rides inside pages. 100lb Gloss Cover is the default and adds +1 business day. 80lb Gloss Cover does not add that day. Both print full color on one side or both.
Can I get a tassel hole on this form?
