How this free grammar check helps print jobs

Print deadlines leave little room for last-minute wording fixes. A restaurant menu, realtor postcard, or event flyer can look polished in layout and still hide a misspelled street name or a confusing offer line. This 55printing tool reviews the text you paste, lists spelling and clarity issues, and offers a cleaner rewrite you can drop back into Illustrator, Canva, or Word before you upload for a PDF proof.

Fair-use limits (so the tool stays free)

Your first check each day can cover up to 1,000 words. After that, each check is capped at 100 words, with a 1-minute wait between runs, and a maximum of 3 checks per day per IP address. That keeps the AI service available for other customers who are polishing short headlines, captions, and call-to-action lines. Need a full brochure reviewed? Use the File Uploader and ask our prepress team for help at no charge.

What to paste

  • Business card lines: name, title, phone, website, tagline
  • Flyer headlines, body paragraphs, and offer fine print
  • Postcard or EDDM mailer copy before the PDF proof
  • Yard sign or banner wording that must read clearly from a car

Leave prices, phone numbers, URLs, and product names as written. The checker is tuned to keep those details intact while fixing grammar and awkward phrasing.

After you clean the copy

Place the improved text in your artwork, confirm bleed and safe zones with our guideline templates, then upload on the File Uploader. Request a free PDF proof so you can verify the final layout before production. If you still need design help, start from the Online Designer or ask for free design setup on eligible products.

Grammar check FAQ

Does my text get stored?

We process the check to return results and enforce fair-use limits by IP. Do not paste passwords, card numbers, or private medical details. For confidential jobs, use the File Uploader and note that the file is private.

Why only 100 words after the first check?

The first run is meant for a full short piece (up to 1,000 words). Later runs are for polishing a headline, paragraph, or offer line so the AI budget stays available for everyone.

Will this replace a human proofreader?

No. It catches common spelling and clarity issues fast. For branded campaigns or legal/medical claims, have a person review the final PDF proof before you approve print.

Can you fix my layout too?

Yes. Upload the file and ask for free design setup or a PDF proof. Spelling is only one part of print readiness; bleed, resolution, and color still matter.
