Some print jobs do not fit a dropdown. A custom size, a special finish, a huge quantity, a branded box, or a run that mixes products all need a human price. Send the request once and a real print specialist replies with options, usually within 1 business day.

When a custom quote fits best

A standard product page gives you live pricing in seconds, and that is still the fastest path for a normal size, stock, and quantity. Ask for a custom quote when any of these is true:

  • Unusual size or shape. Oversized posters, long banners, custom die cuts, or a size that does not appear in the size list.
  • Special finishing. Foil, spot UV, soft touch, rounded corners, hand assembly, numbering, or a finish we do not show on the form.
  • Large or mixed volume. A very large run, or one job that bundles several products into a single order.
  • Packaging and retail. Custom boxes, sleeve wraps, hang tags, and inserts that need a dieline.
  • Design help. You have the words, the logo, and a rough idea, but no print-ready file yet.
  • Rush deadlines. A date that is tighter than the standard turnaround shown on the product page.

How the custom quote works (3 steps)

  1. Send the request. Fill the form with the product, size, quantity, and deadline. A short sketch or reference helps but is not required.
  2. We price it. We check the closest production path, confirm the stock and finish, and send a written quote with print, shipping, and turnaround.
  3. You decide. Approve the quote to move forward, or ask for a change. Artwork and payment come after you are happy with the price.

What to have ready (it makes the quote faster)

You do not need everything to start. If you only know the product and the size, send that and we will help with the rest. When you can, include:

  • The product type, such as business cards, flyers, postcards, booklets, or vinyl banners.
  • The finished size, or a reference item with its measurements.
  • The quantity, and whether you may need a second run later.
  • Paper, coating, and any finish you have in mind, plus 2 or 3 alternatives you would accept.
  • Your deadline, and a normal or rush speed preference.
  • Artwork status: a print-ready file, a file that needs a check, or a concept that needs design help.

Already have a file? Send it through the File Uploader and mention the same email in this form so we match them. Prefer a normal product? Use Design Studio or a guideline template and price it live.

Why customers send custom requests here

Print shops that only sell fixed sizes turn unusual jobs away or hide the real price until after you pay. We keep the request simple and the answer honest. You get a written number for the exact job, with the shipping shown, and you can compare it against the standard catalog before you commit. Since 1999 we have printed more than 2 million orders, and a large share of them started as a custom request just like this one.

The same specialist who prices the quote stays on the job through proof and production, so nobody re-learns your project halfway through. If a cheaper standard product already does what you need, we will point you to it.

Custom quote questions

How fast do I get a custom quote?
Most requests are answered within 1 business day. Jobs that need a custom dieline or an unusual finish can take up to 2 business days because we confirm the production path before quoting. You always get a written price before any artwork or payment step.
Do I need an account or a payment to get a price?
No. You can ask for a custom quote with only your name, email, and the job details. There is no account, no deposit, and no obligation. If you decide to move forward, you approve the written quote first and pay after that.
What counts as a custom print job?
Anything the standard product form cannot fully describe: a nonstandard size, a special finish such as foil or spot UV, a very large run, a bundle of several products, custom packaging, or a job that also needs design help. Normal sizes with live pricing are faster on the product page.
Can you help if I do not have a print-ready file?
Yes. Say on the form that the artwork needs a check or that you only have a concept. We can review a rough file, place your supplied text and logo into a print layout, or start from a guideline template. Free design setup is included on eligible products.
Is shipping included in the quote?
The quote shows the print price and the shipping cost for the delivery address you give us. Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air are the shipping options we quote. Shipping rates can change between the quote and the ship date, so we confirm the final amount before the job ships.
Will you tell me if a cheaper standard product works?
Yes. We check the standard catalog first. If a normal size, stock, and quantity already does what you need, we point you to that product page so you can price it in seconds instead of waiting for a quote.
