The same image compared at two finished print sizes
The same pixel canvas can look sharp at one finished size and soft at another. Check effective PPI before the file reaches production.
Original artwork reviewed at the final print size
A final-size review catches detail loss that a large monitor preview hides. Use this checkpoint before approving the proof.

Check the file before the press sees it

A preflight is a decision aid, not a production certificate. It catches the measurable problems customers can fix early: a canvas that is too small, an image placed at a weak effective PPI, a missing bleed allowance, or a file orientation that does not match the finished piece.

  1. Enter the finished size and the assumptions that are actually true for this job.
  2. Read each warning, not only the headline color. A warning is a next action.
  3. Confirm the exact official template, then request a proof when the detail matters.

What this tool cannot certify

No browser calculator can see every production decision. It cannot approve a complex PDF’s fonts, overprint, fold order, variable data, spelling, legal copy, official template fit or a final printed QR scan. Those checks remain part of the official guideline and proof process.

Questions customers ask before printing

What does this preflight check?

It checks the selected file type, image dimensions, effective PPI at your finished size, bleed planning, orientation, and basic file signals. It does not approve fonts, overprint, folds, spelling, safe zones, or every raster object inside a complex PDF. Use the official product template for the final production decision.

Does a green result replace a proof?

No. Use the exact official product guideline and request a human proof when the design, trim, folds, QR code, small type, or color is important. A green result means only that the measurable inputs fit the planning assumptions you entered; it cannot inspect every object or finishing instruction.

Are my files uploaded?

Image dimensions are read in your browser. PDFs are inspected for page geometry when the browser PDF helper is available; the original is not stored by this tool. Your local file stays in the browser session, and you should still compare the final exported proof with the untouched original.
