    How this free Word to PDF and JPG tool helps print jobs

    Many customers write flyer copy, menus, or letterhead in Microsoft Word, then need a PDF for upload and press, plus JPG pages for quick email review. Opening the file in a different office suite can shift fonts, line breaks, and table spacing. This 55printing converter sends your .doc or .docx through a Microsoft Office conversion engine so the PDF matches what you see in Word as closely as possible, then optionally renders JPG pages in your browser with the same path used by PDF to JPG. You can convert up to three Word files in one run. We do not keep your documents after conversion finishes.

    Fair-use limits (so the tool stays free)

    Each visitor can run up to 3 conversions per day per IP address (one credit per Word file), with a 1-minute wait between separate runs, and a 15 MB size cap per file. Multi-file batches use credits back-to-back without waiting between files in the same run. Need a long catalog or many files converted?     What files work best

    • .docx is preferred; older .doc files are accepted when possible
    • Embed fonts in Word before convert when you use specialty typefaces
    • Flatten or embed linked images so nothing is missing in the PDF
    • Keep page size set to the finished print size (for example 8.5×11 or 4×6)

    Use PDF for File Uploader, proofs, and press. Use JPG pages when a client needs quick email review of each page. Choose PDF + JPG when you need both in one run. JPG export happens in your browser after each PDF returns, so page images stay private after conversion.

    Privacy

    Your upload is processed for conversion only. The resulting PDF is returned to your browser, then JPG pages are rendered locally with pdf.js. Successful runs are logged for abuse monitoring with technical details (IP, file size, timing), not your document contents.

    Can I convert more than one Word file at once?

    Yes. Select up to 3 .doc or .docx files (or drop them together). Each file uses one daily convert credit. Downloads arrive as a ZIP when you convert more than one file, or when you include JPG pages.

    Can I export Word pages as JPG?

    Yes. Choose PDF + JPG or JPG pages only, pick 150 / 200 / 300 DPI, then download a ZIP of one JPG per page. Use 150 DPI for email proofs and 300 DPI when the client must judge fine type or photos.

    Will my fonts and colors stay the same?

    This tool uses a Microsoft Office conversion engine designed to preserve Word layout, fonts, and colors. If a specialty font is not installed on the conversion host and is not embedded in your file, Word may substitute a similar face (the same way Word does on a PC missing that font). For critical brand work, embed fonts in Word first or send the file through File Uploader for a free prepress check.

    Is this safe for customer artwork?

    Yes for typical short print jobs. Files are converted and returned; they are not stored in your 55printing account. Do not upload documents with passwords you cannot share, or files you are not allowed to process online.
