After 13 years as an OnPrintShop customer, 55printing.com launched its own store with AI auto design, after-hours AI chat, live tracking through delivery, and free artwork help on qualifying orders.
GRANDVILLE, Mich. (Aug. 17, 2026) — 55printing.com, an online printer serving customers since 1999, today announced the next chapter of its store. The company was an OnPrintShop customer from 2013 and says that platform carried the business for a long time. 55printing has now opened its own website, product catalog, design studio, and support system so it can keep adding tools that were hard to ship on a shared store platform.
“OnPrintShop was a real partner. We were their customer from 2013, and that software helped us take orders, price jobs, and grow for years. We are grateful for that run,” said Juan Batista, owner of 55printing.com. “The next step was to build our own house. Now a customer can get a live price, let AI auto-build a design, talk to chat after hours, and follow the tracking number until the package is delivered. If the art needs a cleanup or a full remake before press, that help is part of the job.”
A long OnPrintShop chapter
55printing used OnPrintShop as its storefront, cart, and product calculators from 2013. The company says the platform was a workhorse: it made online print ordering possible for a small shop and stayed in place through more than a decade of daily orders. The new site is not a knock on that history. It is the next build, owned by 55printing, so new products, AI tools, chat, tracking, and deals can move as fast as customers need them.
What the new platform adds
55printing now lists more than 80 configure-to-order print products with live pricing. The catalog covers business cards, flyers, postcards, EDDM, brochures, color copies, vinyl banners, yard signs, roll labels, apparel, flags, mugs, calendars, notepads, and related marketing print. A Digital Fast line offers 1 to 2 business day production on selected products. An Express line covers 2 to 3 business day jobs. The company also builds websites and ecommerce sites as a separate service.
The free Online Designer now includes AI auto design build. A customer can describe the job and let the studio assemble a print-ready layout, then edit text, colors, and images before saving. Shoppers can also download bleed and safe-zone guideline templates or upload finished files. Qualifying orders include free design setup and a free PDF proof. Prepress can fix files or remake artwork when the job needs it, then send a proof for approval before production.
Customer support now uses an AI chat system on the site. When staff are offline, the AI chat can still answer product questions, look up an order, and read live tracking. During business hours, people stay in the loop through chat, phone, email, and a staff console so artwork questions do not sit in a generic inbox.
After a job ships, customers receive real-time tracking-number updates as the carrier status changes, through final delivery. The same tracking record is available in chat, so a customer does not have to wait for the next business morning to ask where the package is.
The Tools hub adds free utilities around that workflow: a paper types gallery, artwork quality enhancer, Word to PDF, PowerPoint to JPG and PDF, PDF to JPG, image-to-PDF merge, grammar check, AI uncrop, a QR code generator, and a free sample kit request. Checkout accepts credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Pay Later. Orders ship to all 50 U.S. states, Washington D.C., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Production is assigned across operations in California, Michigan, Texas, Kentucky, New Jersey, Arizona, Florida, Ohio, and Rhode Island. There is no local pickup.
What comes next
55printing said the work ahead is to keep using the new platform: more products, clearer prices, faster art help, and the same respect for the years OnPrintShop made the first online store possible.
