The catalog size was close, and the file was not that size
A banner file measured a size that was not on the product form, and it asked for hardware the standard option did not include. Forcing it into the nearest item would have cut the art. We opened the custom order path for that file.
Describe the size and the finish yourself and we quote it free. Send the odd file and we check whether it can be printed before you pay. Off-menu sizes are why this path sits next to the catalog.
Does 55printing really review custom sizes, or is this just a form?
We review the request against cutters, stocks, and turnaround we can actually run. If we cannot do the piece, we say so and offer the closest catalog size. We keep improving the questions on this form so fewer jobs stall on a missing dimension.
