What is the difference between Lightweight Indoor and Heavy Duty Outdoor?
Lightweight Indoor is the store-floor film for wood, tile, carpet, and PVC. Heavy Duty Outdoor is the slip-resistant rigid surface for sidewalks, entries, and higher-traffic exterior floors. On a 9″ x 18″ rectangle, both print at $16.73 for quantity 1. They split at quantity 2: indoor is $32.65 and outdoor is $28.45. Pick the material that matches the surface. Indoor film is the wrong choice for a wet entry.
Will these stay down on tile or carpet?
Indoor graphics are made for clean, dry interior floors. Sweep and degrease the area before install. Sealed tile and finished wood hold well. Deep-pile carpet and dusty warehouse concrete are poor bonds. Outdoor graphics need a clean, dry rigid surface. Do not install on loose gravel or wet asphalt. Test a corner on unfinished or freshly sealed floors first.
Are they slip resistant?
The outdoor material is the slip-resistant rigid surface from the supplier form. Indoor film is for interior traffic, not rain. If the floor gets mopped into a wet film every night or sits in weather, choose Heavy Duty Outdoor. Slip-resistant is not the same as ice-proof. Do not place outdoor stock in standing water.
Can I remove them later?
Yes. Warm the edge and peel slowly. Residue is usually light on sealed tile and wood. Test a corner first. Do not yank cold outdoor stock off concrete. A hair dryer on low helps the adhesive release. Sweep the floor after you lift the graphic so grit does not scratch the finish.
What file should I upload?
