Why a radius is not an oval

People open this page because a sharp corner frays in a pocket. The economical page can add Rounded Corners (0.25″ radius) onto a rectangle, but that calculator defaults to a sharp 2″ x 3.5″ at quantity 250 duplex. This page defaults to the radius die, quantity 100, front only. 100 of 2″ x 2″ Rounded Square on the same 14 pt. Gloss, front only, prints at $19.99 and packs at $33.69 with $13.70 ground. 100 of 3″ x 3″ Rounded Square prints at $20.43 and packs at $34.13. Duplex on the default 2″ x 3.5″ radius at 100 prints at $22.34 and packs at $36.04.
1,000 of the default 2″ x 3.5″ front-only gloss cards print at $55.62. Ground on 1,000 is $14.40. Packed is $70.02. 16 pt. Premium Matte on 100 default cards prints at $24.40 and packs at $38.10. You cannot type a custom millimeter radius. The supplier die is the radius you get.

Radius sizes and quantity money

| Size and quantity | Ground | Print + ground | |

How production time and shipping differ
Standard production is 3-5 business days after you approve the file and pay. This form does not list a rush print line. Linen and kraft add 2 days. Shipping starts after production. Ground is 1 to 4 days in transit. 2nd Day Air on 100 default cards to 33140 is $21.69. Next Day Air is $29.39. Packed with 2nd Day Air is $38.89. Packed with Next Day Air is $46.59. Those are carrier prices, not a faster radius die.
You cannot pick the radius in millimeters. The die uses the supplier radius for each size. A 3" rounded square will not sit in a standard card case. Type that crowds a corner still clips, even with a radius. Keep names inside the cyan safe.
Artwork and the upload path
Build a 2″ x 3.5″ PDF or flattened PNG at 300 DPI, or open a Predesigned Design Studio card. Do not park a QR in the radius. The corner is shorter than a sharp 90 degree block. 14 pt. Uncoated or 13 pt. linen takes a pen or a stamp on the back. Gloss and kraft fight a ballpoint. Silver Package is the listed design-build option when you do not have a file.
If the art needs a continuous curve with no straight sides, leave this page and open oval cards. If the art is a full disk, open circle cards.
Rounded-corner card questions
How is this different from an oval card?
An oval has no straight sides. These cards keep four straight edges and only radiused corners. An oval eats the whole corner block, so a QR or a license number cannot live there. A rounded 2″ x 3.5″ still has a usable side for a phone line. One default rounded card here prints at $17.20. One default oval on its own page prints at $33.86 for 100 front-only 14 pt. Gloss cards. They are different dies and different money.
Can I pick the radius in millimeters?
No. The supplier die sets the radius for 2″ x 3.5″ Round Corners, 2″ x 2″ Rounded Square, and 3″ x 3″ Rounded Square. The economical page lists Rounded Corners (0.25″ radius) as a form option on its own calculator. This page is the dedicated radius product with quantity 100 as the default. Do not send a file that assumes a tighter or looser corner than the guideline sheet.
Which size matches a US card case?
2″ x 3.5″ Round Corners. That is why it is the default. The 2″ rounded square usually drops into a loose pocket. The 3″ rounded square needs a larger case. 100 of the wallet size print at $17.20 and pack at $30.90 with ground to 33140. 100 of the 3″ rounded square print at $20.43 and pack at $34.13.
Does 16 pt. Premium Matte take a rubber stamp?
Matte coating resists ink. Use 14 pt. Uncoated if someone will stamp or write on the back. 16 pt. Premium Matte on 100 default cards prints at $24.40 and packs at $38.10. It feels thicker. It is a poorer stamp surface. Linen has texture and adds 2 production days. Gloss is the $17.20 start and wants a printed back, not a wet stamp.
How do production days differ from the delivery window?
Production is 3-5 business days on Standard after you approve the file and pay. This form does not sell a rush print add-on. Shipping starts after that clock. Ground is 1 to 4 days in transit. 2nd Day Air on 100 default cards to 33140 is $21.69. Next Day Air is $29.39. If the mixer is Saturday, count press days first. The express business-card page is the 2-3 day print lock, and it defaults to a sharp rectangle, not this radius die.
Should I use the economical page and just click rounded corners?
You can, if you want quantity 250 duplex on a 2″ x 3.5″ rectangle with the 0.25″ option. That is a different default and different money ($19.44 print). This page exists so the radius is the product, quantity starts at 50, and 2″ x 2″ or 3″ x 3″ rounded squares are first-class sizes. Stay here when the corner is the reason you opened the shop.
If the radius wallet card is the job, set the form back to the $17.20 default or pick a rounded square, then add the order from this page.
