The straight edge is where a name or a URL should sit. The dome is for a mark or a photo. This die is not a full circle and not an oval. Papers are 100 lb. Matte Cover, 14 pt. Gloss, 14 pt. Uncoated, 16 pt Premium Matte, 13 pt Premium Linen, and 18 pt Premium Kraft. Linen and kraft add 2 production days. Most card cases will take the 2″ x 3.5″ footprint. The dome will show above a tight slot. The form above is the total that bills.

Standard production is 3-5 business days after you approve the file and pay. This form does not list a rush print line. Linen and kraft add 2 days. Shipping starts after production. Ground is 1 to 4 days in transit. 2nd Day Air on 100 default half circles to 33140 is $21.69. Next Day Air is $29.39. Packed with 2nd Day Air is $55.55. Packed with Next Day Air is $63.25. Those are carrier prices, not a faster dome.
There is no 3" half circle. A circular logo larger than the dome will clip. The form does not sell a custom dome height. Decide sunrise (straight edge down) or smile (straight edge up) before you build the file. The press will not guess.
Artwork and the upload path
Build a 2″ x 3.5″ half-circle PDF or flattened PNG at 300 DPI, or open a Predesigned Design Studio card. Keep the name on the straight edge. Keep the mark in the dome. Download the bleed-and-safe sheet so the curve does not cut a letter in half. Silver Package is the listed design-build option when you do not have a file.

Which way is up on a half circle?
Put the straight edge at the bottom if you want a sunrise. Put it at the top if you want a smile cut. The die is the same. Your file decides the reading direction. Tell the press nothing extra. The guideline sheet shows the curve. 100 default half circles print at $33.86 and pack at $47.56 with ground to 33140. A file that puts the name on the dome will read upside down in a wallet slot.
Can I get a 3″ half circle?
No. 2″ x 3.5″ is the only priced size on this page. The circle page has a 3″ full disk. The economical page lists a 3.5″ x 1.75″ half circle as one of many shapes. This dedicated page is the 2″ x 3.5″ dome only. Do not upload a 3″ file and hope it shrinks. Build to this guideline sheet.
Will the dome clip a circular logo?
If the logo is a full circle larger than the dome, yes. Shrink the mark, crop it to a horizon, or use the full-circle page. The straight edge is the safe reading line. The dome is the picture area. 100 duplex half circles print at $39.00 if you need a back. That does not make the dome larger.
Is linen a good idea on a half circle?
13 pt. linen takes foil-less texture well. It is a poorer choice if you need a hard gloss photo in the dome. Linen adds 2 production days. 14 pt. Gloss is the $33.86 start and holds a photo. 16 pt. Premium Matte on 100 front-only cards prints at $41.06. Kraft on that row prints at $46.55 and looks like a brown sunrise board, not a sticker.
Why is 1,000-piece ground $14.87 here and $14.60 on the oval page?
Both pages share a $66.40 print cell at 1,000 front-only 14 pt. Gloss cards. The shipping matrices are not the same carton. This half-circle row is $14.87 ground. The oval row is $14.60 ground. Packed here is $81.27. Packed there is $81.00. Do not copy an oval shipping number onto this die. The form on this page is the billed ground.
How do production days differ from the delivery window?
Production is 3-5 business days on Standard after you approve the file and pay. This form does not sell a rush print add-on. Shipping starts after that clock. Ground is 1 to 4 days in transit. 2nd Day Air on 100 default half circles to 33140 is $21.69. Next Day Air is $29.39. A faster truck does not cut a faster dome.
